Scars blended seamlessly with your skin
What Is It?
Camouflage is a specialized paramedical procedure that blends scars and stretch marks into the surrounding skin using custom mixed pigments. Unlike traditional tattooing, the goal of scar and stretch marks camouflage is to make the area less visible rather than to decorate it. At our Fair Oaks studio, we focus on restoring your skin’s natural appearance.
How Does It Work?
Using expert color matching techniques, each client’s pigment is custom-blended to their exact skin tone and implanted just below the surface. This allows the light to reflect off of the pigment, creating a seamless, natural-looking results for our Sacramento area clients.
Precision results require a layered approach. We offer comprehensive treatment plans to ensure your results are seamless and stand the test of time.
Your treatment plan is fully customized based on the size, location, scar type, skin type, and complexity of the area, as well as the number of sessions needed to reach your goals.
During your private consultation, we’ll review the area, confirm candidacy, and outline a clear treatment plan. Once your plan is established, you’ll receive an exact cost for your specific journey before moving forward.
Flexible payment options are available and can be discussed during your consultation.

Am I a Candidate for Camouflage Tattooing?
For the best results, scars must be fully healed (usually 12–24 months old), stable in color, and not significantly raised or red. Stretch marks should be white or silvery and softened. During your consultation in Fair Oaks, we will assess your skin texture to ensure this is the safest path for you.
How Long Does It Take To Heal?
Typical healing time is 8–12 weeks to allow the pigment to fully settle. This period enables us to assess how well your skin retains the pigment and determines if any adjustments are needed to your custom formula.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Every scar is unique, so no two treatments are the same. However, most clients typically require 2–3 sessions to achieve full, restorative results.
Does It Hurt?
The process is generally well-tolerated and often described as a "mild sunburn" sensation. As a trauma-informed studio, we check in with you throughout the process. Numbing options are available to ensure you remain comfortable.
Is It Permanent?
While considered permanent, results will naturally soften over the years due to aging and sun exposure. For those enhancing their body confidence post-surgery, 3D areola tattooing is also available at our Sacramento area location as a complementary restorative service.
